Definitions—
“Professional service” means labor, effort, or work that requires specialized knowledge, expertise, and discretion, including labor, effort, or work in the field of:
· accounting;
· administrative law judge service;
· architecture;
· construction design and management;
· engineering;
· financial services;
· information technology;
· the law;
· medicine;
· psychiatry; or
· underwriting.

Procurement of Professional Services—
The District may use the process set forth in USBE Policy CCF (to be added later) (relating to procurement of design professional services) to obtain other types of professional services for the District.
