Education for elementary student parents—

The District shall provide, once every three years, instruction to the parents of elementary school students in the District on recognizing warning signs of a child who is being sexually abused or who is a victim or may be at risk of becoming a victim of human trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation and on effective, age-appropriate methods for discussing the topic of child sexual abuse with a child.

Parental education curriculum—

The parental instruction required under this policy shall be provided with instructional materials approved by the State Board of Education for that purpose (either those created by the State Board of Education or created by the District and approved by the State Board of Education).
